My wife and I have lived in Nixa for almost 20 years. We are thrilled to be raising our 4 kids as Eagles! I am passionate about creating a community that lifts up its children. I am an officer of the JTSD PTO, a Board Member for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ozarks, and on the Nixa Care To Learn Advisory Council. I’ve worked in the insurance industry since graduating from MSU, on the carrier side, the client side, and now on the broker side. I was able to land a gig that allows me to serve international clients right here from Nixa, and am loving every minute of it!

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
I’ve been married to my wife Jessica for 20 years. We have four kids in Nixa schools.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I am a VP – Account Executive for Aon. I am blessed to be able to work from Nixa for our St. Louis office. I help companies with risk management and insurance solutions. I have been in the insurance industry for 17 years and love that every day something new and challenging presents itself.

I love Getting Basted, 14 Mill Market, and Rocco’s.
Q: How long have you lived or worked in Nixa?
My wife and I moved to Nixa nearly 20 years ago. We just both transitioned to also working in Nixa in 2022.
Q: What are some of your favorite hobbies/past times?
We love riding four wheelers on the family farm, watching the Chiefs play, and the Nixa Eagles.
Q: What is one of your most favorite things about Nixa?
Nixa schools can’t be beat. I love the way the community rallies behind our educators and students. We are so lucky to have a STEAM school, JTSD, here in SWMO!
Q: What advice would you give to people living in Nixa?
Keep your money here! We have so many great restaurants, shops, and growing entertainment options. Let’s all prioritize keeping our money local.

Q: What is something on your bucket list?
Celebrating Oktoberfest in Germany!
Q: Who has been a hero in your life?
My Grandpa Hestel was such a hard-working, fun-loving role model. I sometimes pause and think about how he would handle a situation.
Q: What is something interesting that most people don’t know about you (Even for friends or family)?
I act like I like scary movies, but deep down I HATE them!
Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?
I don’t deserve my amazing family. Aside from that, I was named a Springfield Business Journal 40 Under 40 in 2022.
